Agreement for Your Repair

The Conditions of Repair (“Agreement”) shall apply to the service (“Service”) we provide to repair your smartphone, tablet, computer or any Device stated on the service form.
References to “us”, “we”, and “our” refer to Repair My Crack and regards to “you” and “youʼre” are references to you as the Customer.

The Repair My Crack agreement will commence from the date you sign the service check-in form and continue until we have repaired or otherwise returned your Device. Our terms and conditions begin from whichever is sooner and we receive any payment due from you.

We aim to fully repair your Device subject to the availability of any parts required or the terms of any relevant guarantee or warranty. We shall perform the Service using our utmost care and skill; we also aim to use high-quality compatible parts for the repairs of all Devices.

Our team will require the passcode of your device to test the device before and after the repair. Should you prefer to keep this information private, we can still proceed with an appointment but will not perform a full check on the Device until you return to the store, which can delay the repair if any adjustments need to be made.

Time estimations of when the repair will be completed is only an estimate and does not form any obligation under the terms of this Agreement. We will aim to return your Device as soon as reasonably possible. However, any Board Level (Level 3) repairs may take at least five working days to be completed. Our team will notify you when your Device has been repaired and is available for collection from the store. If necessary, we shall send a reminder after 21 days. We are entitled to keep your Device until all charges payable have been paid; we may also charge an additional fee for your Deviceʼ.

If we cannot complete the Service for any reason, there may be further costs payable, but we will notify you immediately via telephone or email. If no fault is found on your Device, we can charge you an inspection fee according to our standard charges. The repair cost will be calculated where possible according to our standard charges as published from time to time.

The Repair My Crack service may void your manufacturerʼs warranty. If you would like to avoid this, please take your Device directly to the manufacturer; however, your manufacturer will not cover any accidental damage.

Our team may install warranty seals following the repair; any tampering of the seals will void the Repair My Crack warranty. Our products and repairs are covered by the warranty terms outlined in the table below:

The Warranty we provide is linked to the deviceʼs unique IMEI or serial number and then related to a specific customer identified by our systemʼs records. It will cover the Customer for any reoccurrence of the original fault and the part replaced or repaired only; however, if additional faults arise, they will not be covered under the terms of this Warranty. Also, our warranty will not cover accidental damage, nor will the cover extend should the device change ownership.

We do not accept responsibility for the progression of damage for Devices that have been damaged by liquid. Opening the Device could set off further damage, which in some cases may be very serious and irreparable. We ask our customers to monitor their Device post liquid damage repair, as unknown issues can arise soon after treatment for liquid damage, beyond our control.

Should your Device display any further issues relating to the liquid damage during the Warranty period, we will reassess and re-quote for the work needed. We will also offer a full refund of all monies paid by you with respect to repairs carried out to your Device, excluding the £20 up-front cost, should you wish to take this option. Following repair, any waterproofing or resistance cannot be guaranteed on your device.
