It’s easy to assume a cracked back panel is just cosmetic, especially when the screen and everything else on the front still works fine. On the S23 Ultra it’s worth taking a bit more seriously than that. The rear glass helps seal the phone against dust and moisture, and once it’s cracked, that seal is compromised, so the longer it’s left, the more chance there is of something getting in around the camera housing or charging components underneath.

The good news is this is usually a contained repair. If the crack is limited to the back panel and the frame around it isn’t bent, we can replace just the rear glass without needing to touch the screen, battery, or cameras at all.
