iPad Mini screen repair
The Mini’s compact size means tighter internal tolerances than a full-size iPad, so it’s a more delicate job despite the smaller screen. On the newer laminated models the glass and display are bonded together, which means a cracked front needs the full assembly — worth knowing before you assume it’ll be cheap because the tablet is small.
iPad Mini battery replacement
A common request on the Mini, since many are several years old and used heavily as e-readers or travel devices. The battery is glued in and the tablet has to come apart carefully, so it takes longer than a phone battery.
Camera and charging port
Both available across the range. Charging port faults on a Mini are frequently nothing more than compacted pocket or bag debris — these get carried around more than larger tablets — so we always check that before assuming the connector has failed.

The Mini has been through several quite different generations, and the parts vary a good deal between them. A single published price would be wrong for most people, so we ask which model you have and quote you properly.
Is a Mini cheaper to repair because it’s smaller?
Not necessarily. Smaller tablets have tighter internal tolerances, so the work can take longer, and on newer laminated models a cracked front still means replacing the whole display assembly. It’s worth getting a firm quote rather than assuming.
How do I find out which iPad Mini I have?
Settings, then General, then About — look for Model Name. If you’d rather not dig, tell us roughly when you bought it and whether it has a Home button, and we can usually narrow it down.
How quickly will I get a quote?
Usually the same working day. A photo helps if the damage is physical, as does the model name.
How long does a repair take?
Most repairs are completed within 24 hours of your iPad reaching our workshop. Overall turnaround including postage both ways is typically 3–5 working days door to door.
Can I drop it off instead of posting it?
Yes, our Harlow workshop takes walk-ins as well as postal repairs. Get your quote first and we’ll have the part ready when you arrive.
Will I lose my data?
No, our repairs don’t affect your data. That said, we always recommend backing up beforehand as a precaution before any repair.
