The 16 Pro is the compact Pro model, and by now it has been in daily use long enough that we see the full spread of repairs on it — not just accident damage but the wear-related faults that only show up after a year or two of charging, dropping and pocketing. Below is what each of those jobs actually involves.
iPhone 16 Pro screen repair
Our Premium screen uses OLED technology to retain the deep blacks and display characteristics expected from a Pro model, with our lifetime warranty. Our Standard screen is a more affordable alternative carrying a 12 month warranty. We test brightness, touch response and Face ID before the phone goes back, and preserve your original TrueDepth camera system where it is undamaged.
iPhone 16 Pro back glass replacement
The iPhone 16 generation has a separately serviceable rear-glass assembly, which makes this a cleaner repair than it was on earlier models. It involves carefully heating and separating the adhesive, disconnecting the rear assembly and resealing the phone correctly afterwards to maintain its water resistance. If only the glass over a camera lens is damaged, that is a different and usually cheaper repair, so send us a photo if you are not sure which you need.
iPhone 16 Pro battery replacement
This is the age at which batteries start to be worth looking at. Check Settings, then Battery, then Battery Health & Charging. If maximum capacity is approaching 80%, or the phone no longer comfortably gets you through the day, a replacement will make a noticeable difference — usually a bigger one than people expect, because the decline is gradual enough that you stop noticing how much you have adjusted around it.
iPhone 16 Pro charging port repair
Charging faults are usually caused by debris, wear or damage around the USB-C connector. If the cable only charges at a certain angle or disconnects when the phone moves, we inspect the port first and replace the connector where necessary. If the phone charges normally by cable but will not charge on a pad or MagSafe puck, that points to the wireless charging coil instead — a separate repair, and one we also list above.

What’s the difference between a Premium and a Standard screen?
Premium is an OLED display, the same panel technology Apple uses, with the colour depth and deep blacks you’d expect from the original. Standard is an incell display or equivalent — a quality alternative at a lower price. Both are fully compatible, both are covered by warranty, and both give you 100% working touch, brightness and True Tone.
Will I get a “parts” warning message after the repair?
If your phone already shows a parts message on the display or battery before it reaches us, we may not be able to remove it — that message relates to work carried out previously. If there is no message when you send it in, there won’t be one after we’ve repaired it. We make sure of that as standard, and plenty of high-street repairers don’t address it at all.
Does Face ID still work after a screen repair?
Yes. Face ID relies on the TrueDepth camera system, which is separate from the display itself. We preserve your original TrueDepth system where it is undamaged, and we test Face ID before and after the repair so you know it is working when the phone goes back to you.
How long does a repair take?
Most repairs are completed within 24 hours of your phone reaching our workshop. We’ll email you as soon as it’s tested and on its way back.
Is my phone insured in the post?
Yes, tracked Royal Mail postage both ways with transit insurance up to £750. Postage is included in the price you see above, in both directions.
Can I drop it off instead of posting it?
Yes, our Harlow workshop takes walk-ins as well as postal repairs. Book online first and we’ll have the part ready when you arrive.
What if my phone has more than one fault?
