Is it worth repairing at this age?
Honestly, it depends what you use it for. As a family tablet or a device for a child, £99.99 to fix the screen is far better value than replacing it. If it’s already slow for what you need and the battery is tired too, that’s a different conversation — tell us what you’re dealing with and we’ll give you a straight answer rather than just taking the booking. Battery and charging port repairs aren’t priced online, so ask us for those.

How do I know whether I need a black or white screen?
Look at the border around the display when the iPad is off. White frame means White; black frame means Black. It isn’t the same as the colour of the back — a silver iPad usually has a white bezel, a space grey one usually has black.
Is it worth repairing an iPad this old?

My glass is cracked but the picture is fine. Is that cheaper?

Yes, though it isn’t priced online for this model. iPad batteries are glued in and take longer than a phone battery, so get in touch and we’ll quote you properly.
How long does a repair take?
Most repairs are completed within 24 hours of your iPad reaching our workshop. Overall turnaround including postage both ways is typically 3–5 working days door to door.
Can I drop it off instead of posting it?
Yes, our Harlow workshop takes walk-ins as well as postal repairs. Book online first and we’ll have the part ready when you arrive.
Will I lose my data?
No, our repairs don’t affect your data. That said, we always recommend backing up beforehand as a precaution before any repair.
