A phone of this age will almost certainly report Weak or Bad in Samsung Members, under Support then Phone diagnostics then Battery status, and a new cell is the difference between a handset that feels finished and one that carries on for another couple of years.

£239.99 for a genuine Samsung display with the S Pen digitiser laminated in. That is a lot of money against a phone of this age, and we will be straight with you: unless the screen is unusable, or the phone has particular value to you, it is worth thinking hard before spending it. If you do go ahead, the panel is genuine and the S Pen is tested across its pressure range before the phone goes back.
