The 17 Pro Max is the newest and largest phone in Apple’s line-up, and repairs on a current-generation flagship come with one practical consideration: parts cost more while a model is new. That is reflected in our prices, and it is worth knowing before you compare quotes. What it should not mean is a compromise on the part itself — a cheap panel on a phone this expensive is a false economy.
iPhone 17 Pro Max screen repair
Two options are available. Our Premium screen uses OLED technology to retain the deep blacks and display behaviour you would expect from a Pro model, covered by our lifetime warranty. Our Standard screen is a more affordable alternative with a 12 month warranty. Whichever you choose, we test brightness, touch response and Face ID before the phone goes back, and preserve your original TrueDepth camera system where it is undamaged.
iPhone 17 Pro Max back glass replacement
Replacing the rear glass involves separating the adhesive, fitting a replacement rear assembly and resealing the phone properly afterwards. Resealing matters — it is what maintains the water resistance the phone shipped with, and it is the step cheaper repairs tend to skip. If only the glass over one of the camera lenses is damaged rather than the main panel, that is usually a different and cheaper repair, so send us a photo if you are unsure.
iPhone 17 Pro Max battery replacement
On a phone this new, a battery that is already struggling usually points to something other than normal wear — heavy fast-charging, a period of use in high temperatures, or occasionally a faulty cell. Check Settings, then Battery and Battery Health & Charging. If maximum capacity has dropped well below where you would expect for the age of the phone, get in touch before booking and we will help you work out whether a replacement is the right answer.
iPhone 17 Pro Max charging port repair
Charging problems are often caused by debris, wear or damage around the USB-C connector. If the cable only charges at a certain angle or disconnects when the phone moves, we inspect the port first and replace the connector where necessary. If the phone charges by cable but not on a wireless pad, that is a separate repair relating to the charging coil rather than the port.

What’s the difference between a Premium and a Standard screen?
Premium is an OLED display, the same panel technology Apple uses, with the colour depth and deep blacks you’d expect from the original. Standard is an incell display or equivalent — a quality alternative at a lower price. Both are fully compatible, both are covered by warranty, and both give you 100% working touch, brightness and True Tone.
Will I get a “parts” warning message after the repair?
If your phone already shows a parts message on the display or battery before it reaches us, we may not be able to remove it — that message relates to work carried out previously. If there is no message when you send it in, there won’t be one after we’ve repaired it. We make sure of that as standard, and plenty of high-street repairers don’t address it at all.
Does Face ID still work after a screen repair?
Yes. Face ID relies on the TrueDepth camera system, which is separate from the display itself. We preserve your original TrueDepth system where it is undamaged, and we test Face ID before and after the repair so you know it is working when the phone goes back to you.
How long does a repair take?
Most repairs are completed within 24 hours of your phone reaching our workshop. We’ll email you as soon as it’s tested and on its way back.
Is my phone insured in the post?
Yes, tracked Royal Mail postage both ways with transit insurance up to £750. Postage is included in the price you see above, in both directions.
Can I drop it off instead of posting it?
Yes, our Harlow workshop takes walk-ins as well as postal repairs. Book online first and we’ll have the part ready when you arrive.
What if my phone has more than one fault?
