The 16 Plus gives you the large 6.7-inch display without the Pro price tag, and that carries through to repairs — screen replacement on the Plus is considerably cheaper than on the Pro Max despite the similar size. It is a good phone to repair rather than replace, and the numbers usually back that up.

Large phones are harder to hold one-handed, which is the practical reason screens on Plus and Max models come in as often as they do. A case with a raised lip around the front edge makes a real difference if you have just paid to have one replaced.

The 16 generation uses a separately serviceable rear-glass assembly. We heat and separate the adhesive, fit the replacement assembly and reseal the phone properly so the water resistance is maintained. Colour-matched to your handset, and if only a camera lens cover is cracked, that is a smaller job — send a photo and we will tell you which one applies.

The Plus has one of the larger batteries in the range, so people often buy it specifically for the endurance. That means degradation is felt more sharply here than on smaller models — you notice when the phone that used to last two days stops doing so. Check maximum capacity in Settings, under Battery and Battery Health & Charging; approaching 80% is the point to act.

Debris, wear or damage around the USB-C connector cause most charging faults. If the cable only works at one angle or drops out when the phone moves, we inspect the port first and replace the connector where it is genuinely worn. What’s the difference between a Premium and a Standard screen?

Standard is an incell display or equivalent — a quality alternative at a lower price. Both are fully compatible, both are covered by warranty, and both give you 100% working touch, brightness and True Tone.
Will I get a “parts” warning message after the repair?
If your phone already shows a parts message on the display or battery before it reaches us, we may not be able to remove it — that message relates to work carried out previously. If there is no message when you send it in, there won’t be one after we’ve repaired it. We make sure of that as standard, and plenty of high-street repairers don’t address it at all.
Does Face ID still work after a screen repair?
Yes. Face ID relies on the TrueDepth camera system, which is separate from the display itself. We preserve your original TrueDepth system where it is undamaged, and we test Face ID before and after the repair so you know it is working when the phone goes back to you.
How long does a repair take?
Most repairs are completed within 24 hours of your phone reaching our workshop. We’ll email you as soon as it’s tested and on its way back.
Is my phone insured in the post?
Yes, tracked Royal Mail postage both ways with transit insurance up to £750. Postage is included in the price you see above, in both directions.
Can I drop it off instead of posting it?
Yes, our Harlow workshop takes walk-ins as well as postal repairs. Book online first and we’ll have the part ready when you arrive.
What if my phone has more than one fault?
